New Ministry Opportunity!!

Do you enjoy cooking, are you handy around the house, or do you enjoy helping others? If so, the CARE Ministry at NewChurch may be just the place for you.  We are a new ministry evolving at NewChurch, and our goal is to serve the people of NewChurch by connecting individuals with specific needs to people who can provide support and fulfill those needs.  We are in the process of organizing two CARE response teams:

1. Helping Hands: responsibilities include providing physical help with projects (moving, minor repairs, painting, maintenance, etc).

2. CARE Meals: preparation/delivery of meals for those experiencing special changes and events in their lives (childbirth, illness, accident, or when circumstances indicate a special need).

If you are involved in an Adult Community, our goal is to have an individual in each Community responsible for making sure the needs within the group are met by the members in that group. When the need is larger than the abilities of the group, the CARE ministry will provide church-wide assistance.
